Autistic Boys Hub (ABH) deep dive - blackhole randomness 🕳️ The prize draw tool in the ABH was written from scratch because I didn't want another boring wheel spinner clone 🙄 I did have to brush up on my trigonometry though, ugh 🔢 Once you have selected all your participants for the draw and hit the Prize Draw button, the system creates a tiny "solar system" around a blackhole. Every participant becomes a little green dot 🟢 orbiting it, with the code assigning three random values to each. 1) Angle 🕑- where they start around the blackhole. Think of it like a clockface with the blackhole in the middle, and the code putting people at random spots like 1 oclock, 3 oclock, 6 oclock etc... This one is purely visual - it doesnt affect the odds, just helps spread everyone out so they arent all clumped in one spot. 2) Radius ⭕ - how far they start from the blackhole. Everyone is placed at a random distance from the center so some have more distance to travel, and some have less. 3) Speed 🚀 - how fast they fall towards the blackhole. Everyone gets a random speed within a small range. How is the winner chosen? 🏆 Last participant standing wins! All participants use identical orbit and collapse calculations, ensuring a fair and unbiased result. Total fairness. Total chaos.
