I voted for VP Harris to be the next President of the United States. Not only is she a fellow alum of Howard University, but her lifetime of service demonstrates her commitment to our country and creating solutions. She is a pragmatic leader who is has demonstrated time and time again that she will not be ignored and is willing to debate and discuss towards policy that works and has the desired impact. I may not agree with everything. She advocates, but I believe she will strengthen our country and provide the foundation for its growth.
Regardless of the results, it doesn't change the things I am building or the kind of impact I want to make in the world.
Regardless, I fear for our Republic because we are not fighting for a more perfected democracy, but fearing the future and fighting for yesterday.
I am a Christian and a capitalist striving to make this world more like the Kingdom of G-d.
While I don't understand voting for Trump and I feel it is a vote that inadvertently attacks the very institutions of our country, I understand the frustration people feel and the desire for something different.
A potential boost to cryptocurrency prices isn't worth the other potential issues for me. Also, I think that perspective missed that the value of this space is in communities coming together and establishing value that isn't reliant on others. This is what I am building for and will continue regardless of the result
I will continue to pray for this country and for the world. There is much work to do and I only have true ruler in my life, the Most High. The one that said, I am who who I AM. The Alpha and the Omege. The redeemer. The one who saw fit to manifest in flesh and die as a sacrifice.
With that in mind, I will continue to pursue the modern ACTS II Church for those that have chosen and are chosen.
