It’s a psychological tactic to keep members engaged and mentally fresh.) Anyway, I digress... 1️⃣ Lesson #1: A Giveaway Is Like Unveiling an iPhone -------------------------------------------------- Many accounts on @TheArenaApp and Twitter treat giveaways like minor side quests. They're not! A giveaway should be treated like a major event, like a product launch. Like Apple unveiling their latest iPhone! That means: 🔺 Communicate before, during, and after the giveaway. 🔺 Make every step feel important, because it is. 🔺 When you act like it’s a big deal, people will see it as a big deal. 💡 Example: Our First Giveaway (5-Post Strategy) 1. Consider this: we did that with only 16 followers, after a failed token launch (we got sniped, dumped on, you name it) and a token creator who was like "Meh, I launched the token just for fun. Don't want it anymore. Bye." So we took over. Given it was our first giveaway and the poor circumstances, those numbers aren't bad at all. "The prize was big, that's why you got those numbers!" Of course, the prize is likely the most important factor, but still... Look at the stats for posts 4 and 5. There was no incentive for people to engage (since the giveaway was over), yet people still did. 2️⃣ Lesson #2: Be As Specific As Possible --------------------------------------- Way too many giveaways are vague and unclear. Example: I came across an account with 19.5K followers (again, we had 16) who posted this: "Im going to slam someone randomly today - who wants 25 avax. I don't care if you are rich, poor, successful, unsuccessful, etc... I just want to give someone 25 avax because i have a big itch." Numbers for 19.5K account giving away 25 AVAX ≈ $500: → 149 comments → 114 reposts → 206 likes → 11 bookmarks Numbers for our 1st post (16 followers) giving away ~$100 (we increased that amount to $140 after the giveaway): → 114 comments → 81 reposts → 99 likes → 25 bookmarks Why did that 19.5K account perform so poorly compared to us? He/she treated the giveaway like an afterthought, didn't have a clear call-to-action and wasn't specific enough. Moral of the story: be as specific as possible. Share the exact details of your giveaway: ✅ Total prize pool ✅ Prize breakdown per winner ✅ Start date & time ✅ End date & time (deadline) ✅ Exact steps to enter (e.g., follow, like, repost, comment, tag...) ✅ How winners will be picked ✅ How and when prizes will be sent ✅ If there's a delay for whatever reason, just inform the participants.
