If you had told me a year ago that I'd come on here today and find a ghost town, I would have laughed in your face.
I genuinely believed this place was going to be as big as Twitter. Why? Because I thought they were doing it right. They were building a community, creating something different, and giving people a reason to believe in the future of Web3.
Well, egg on my face, man.
The moment that meme launcher showed up, everything started going downhill. Scam after scam after scam. And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, here came another launch, another gimmick, another feature nobody asked for, and another opportunity to squeeze money out of the community.
Somewhere along the way, they forgot the very thing that made this place special: the people.
It's genuinely sad to see how far this has fallen. What could have been a revolutionary social network turned into something that feels more focused on extracting money than building anything meaningful.
