💸💸 Chapter 1: Vita's Awakening 💸💸 💸 ~ Part 1 ~ 💸 Awakening was not a gentle drift but a sudden, sharp gasp of air. The first thing she knew was the scent of damp earth and pine; the second, the chilling emptiness in her mind—a smooth, placid sea with no reflection. She had no memory of a name, a past, or a purpose. Her fingers were curled around a cold, heavy weight: a sword. The hilt was polished gold, and as she drew the blade, it caught the light, revealing a single word etched elegantly into the metal: VITA. Days bled into one another, a blur of sun-dappled paths and nights spent beneath indifferent stars. The forest finally thinned, giving way to the humble smoke of a small village. The old peasant tilling his sun-baked field straightened his back with a groan, his eyes squinting at the apparition emerging from the treeline. He wiped a hand across his sweaty brow, his gaze sweeping over her—the long, golden hair matted with leaves, the impossibly fine gown now tattered and stained with travel, and the golden sword at her hip that seemed to drink the sunlight. He had seen beauty and power before; they usually spelled trouble. "By Zeus," he breathed, his voice a dry rasp. He took a half-step back, his hand instinctively reaching for the worn leather pouch at his belt. "Another of the Sky Father's children, come to walk among us? We have no monsters to slay here, lady, no hydras in our wells. We are simple folk." His tone was not welcoming; it was wary, the ingrained caution of a mortal who knows divine affairs are storms that level farms and ruin lives. Vita stopped a respectful distance away. The man’s words were a flurry of unknown concepts. Sky Father? Monsters? She only understood the fear in his eyes. "I mean you no harm," she said, her own voice startling her with its clarity. "I... I don’t know that name. I don’t know my own, except for the one on this blade." She gestured tiredly to the sword hilt. "Can you tell me where I am?" The peasant, Lycomedes, fell silent. He lowered his hand from his pouch and truly looked at her. He saw the genuine, bottomless confusion in her piercing green eyes. He had heard tales of the children of Zeus— proud, boisterous, alight with purpose and arrogance. This woman possessed a bearing that could rival any goddess, but her spirit was a hollow echo. There was no fire of destiny in her gaze, only the placid, unnerving calm of a forgotten vessel. "You truly don’t know?" he asked, his suspicion melting into profound and fearful pity. He leaned on his hoe, studying her as he might a strange weather pattern. "I have seen those touched by the gods. They carry their fate like a torch. You carry yours like a shroud. You are... different." He said the word as if describing a color he’d never seen before. He shook his head, a gesture of finality. "My name is Lycomedes, and this village is too small for a mystery like you," he said, his voice softening. "The answers you seek are not in this soil. They lie on the road south, to Athens. It is the heart of the world, full of thinkers, priests, and oracles who spend their days untangling the gods’ great knots. If a name has been lost, someone there has heard it. If a purpose is hidden, they will have a tool to find it. A lost soul might find her reflection in the cradle of wisdom." Athens... The word hung in the air, offering the first solid handhold in the sheer emptiness of her mind. It was a direction. It was a purpose. With a single, grateful nod to the old farmer, Vita turned her face south and began her journey. 💸 ~ End of Part 1 ~ 💸 To Be Continued... 💸💸💸💸
V❤️❤️✅❤️❤️
💫 A stunning first chapter Vita’s awakening pulls us straight into a world both ancient and mysterious. That opening breath, the scent of earth and pine, the weight of the sword everything feels so visceral. The contrast between divine elegance and human confusion is beautifully done. Lycomedes’ reaction is perfect: cautious yet compassionate, grounding us in the reality of this world. And that final line a direction… a purpose hits deep. I’m already invested in Vita’s journey. Onward to Athens… and to answers. 🗡️🌿🔥 Can’t wait for Part 2. 💸💸💸

She does not remember who she was... but the world is about to remember who she is. Vita walks south, but fate runs to meet her. 💸 To Athens... to destiny... to war? 💸 We’re not just reading a story. We’re witnessing the rise of a myth.

Wow, that was powerful! The writing pulled me right in. There’s something haunting about Vita’s emptiness… I’m hooked. This is more than just a fantasy story. The imagery, the emotion, the mystery everything is so well-crafted. Can’t wait to see what happens in Athens!
