I woke up early this morning, and the first thing I started my day with was an intense two hour meeting with our R&D lead. We discussed how to move forward with Phase 2, bringing tokenized stock market making into Balcore, and Phase 3, expanding into cross asset pair market making. We aligned on the research resources, software, people, and capital we will need to move both phases forward.
Before a seed round, almost every pressure eventually lands on the founder. Technical decisions, research costs, hiring needs, timelines, and capital allocation all come back to you. It can be stressful, but honestly, that is also part of the fun. You learn to carry the pressure, make difficult decisions, and continue building through uncertainty.
There is no easy shortcut to building a great product. It requires sacrifice, patience, capital, and deep conviction, especially when most people cannot yet see the full vision. Saturday or not, we keep building.
